This version is made exactly like the early originals, using the correct pot-metal injection process and finished with high-quality triple chrome plating for a clean, period-correct appearance. The barrel carries the correct early markings, including the famous Split-era code L311451 followed by the round VW logo. Every contour, casting line and weight was replicated from an NOS sample, ensuring a perfectly authentic early-production appearance and fit for high-level restorations.
