Made out of the correct thickness aluminum for the serious and demanding restorer, this set is not a mass-produced item, making it the ultimate trim set that will set your car apart from all the rest. Our moldings are rolled, not stamped, the exact same way they were produced back in the early 50s.
The set consists of 7 pieces (hood, doors, front, and rear quarter panels).
Featuring a non-anodized polished aluminum finish, these replicate the looks of the original trim used in the early 50s. The anodizing process was only introduced in 1953 during the Oval window era.
This kit fits Mid-1949 until April 1951 Beetles featuring a long hood trim piece for cars that still didn't use the Wolfsburg Crest in the hood.
