This version is made exactly like the early originals, using bare die-casting pot metal, preserving the true factory look of the first Split Beetle handles. The barrel carries the correct early markings, including the famous Split-era code L311451 followed by the round VW logo. Every contour, casting line and weight was replicated from an NOS sample, ensuring a perfectly authentic early-production appearance and fit for high-level restorations.
