Reproduction solid chrome hood handle for Split Beetle from 1949 up to October 1952. Excellent quality, same size as the original counterpart and beautifully polished to a deep shine. After many requests from customers who were tired of repeatedly re-polishing their dull aluminum hood handles before every show, we decided to reproduce this part in a different material: pot metal. This allows us to chrome the handle properly, ensuring a lifetime of bright, lasting finish. The bottom of the handle carries the correct early VW logo, just like the original.
