Kaefer-Nostalgie proudly introduces the ultimate reproduction front apron for Volkswagen Beetles up to 1960. After months of careful development, we are pleased to offer a part that truly matches the precision and quality of the original VW factory piece. Unlike typical aftermarket aprons, ours is precision stamped from a single sheet, one-piece punched without rework, giving it the correct strength and fit. The hood metal channel comes already bent and welded in place, so there’s no need to order or install it separately. The rear valance is supplied not-welded, allowing proper alignment since every Beetle may require a slightly different weld for a perfect fit. To guarantee accurate dimensions, we created a new mold using an original NOS apron, solving the common length and height issues found in aftermarket reproductions. Each apron has been tested on our own Beetles, and the photos show the parts in bare metal exactly as they are delivered. Nothing to hide—just factory-level quality ready for your restoration.
